Drew Barrymore And Adam Sandler Go For Round Three

Third Movie In The Works For Drew and Adam

Yes you read right this generations Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan of rom coms is coming back together to make a third movie. Reportedly the story is going to be about two single parents who go on a date that doesn't go so well and don't see each other again until years later when they are stuck on vacation with their children at the same resort. I assume this is when the sparks fly and the two realize there really is something there. The title of the movie is reportedly going to be "Blended" because it is about a blended family in the end and is set to come out May 2014.

I am very excited for these two to get back together to make another movie. Their two past movies "The Wedding Singer" and "50 First Dates" were hilarious and did very well at the box office. I know this latest film will be just as amazing and will leave us all laughing till it hurts and having a few silly songs stuck in our head (thanks Adam). Here are some greats from their past movies.

How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest Of Your Life) Review

How do you live your parents for the rest of your life?

ABC recently added a new show to it's line up called "How To Live With Your Parents" about  a woman named Polly who has a young daughter and just decided to leave her husband and get a divorce. Because of this she ends up moving back in with her hippy free spirited mom Elaine and step-dad Max. If anyone has ever moved out and then for some reason had to move back in with their parents I think they can watch this show and relate. Seeing Polly adjust to having her crazy parents around all the time while hearing their opinion on things along with seeing Elaine and Max have to be hands on with their granddaughter who now lives with them is hilarious.
It helps that they have an amazing veteran cast of very funny people with Sarah Chalk from "Scrubs" playing the 'trying to find herself' Polly and Brad Garrett and Elizabeth Perkins playing her quirky yet adorable parents. There is also the dynamic of Polly and her ex Julian who she doesn't want to be with anymore yet still depends on for a lot of things which means even though they are not together we still see him every episode. Even though the show is still very early in its first season I can say I am already rooting for a Polly and Julian reunion since they seem like a cute couple with just a few communication problems. I am excited to see what happens with the rest of the first season of the show and recommend that if you haven't checked this show out yet you do because it is worth it.

"Gangster Squad" Review

Review of "Gangster Squad"

Last week I finally took the time to see the film "Gangster Squad" and I will say I thought it was great. It had all of my favorite things 1940's glam, old time Hollywood sets, plenty of  action, and of coarse the beautiful Ryan Gosling. The story is about a mobster named Mickey Cohen (played by Sean Penn) who with his nasty schemes and power is trying to corrupt and take over Los Angeles. While he has tainted most of the police force in the area some cops are not going to let this mob king take over their town. A team of guys (or a gangster squad shall I say) get together to bring Mickey down and take Los Angeles back. Josh Brolin plays Sgt. John O'Mara and he is the head of the team along four other guys including Sgt. Jerry Wooters played by Ryan Gosling. The casting in the movie was spot on Sean Penn plays the perfect scary villain who isn't going to take anything laying down. Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling play great 1940's cops that are ready to kick some ass. And you also have the lovely Emma Stone playing the love interest of both Sean and Ryan (you can imagine how that goes) but she does a wonderful job playing the role. Personally I think seeing her with Ryan in a movie is always great. The movie takes you on a great ride and leaves you feeling victorious seeing good trump evil in the end. I suggest everyone check this movie out if you haven't already seen it. Here is the trailer to entice you a little more.

Two Is Better Than One

Baby Number 2 For Halle Berry and Ivanka Trump

Earlier this week we found out that Halle Berry (who is 46 by the way) is pregnant with her second child with her French fiance Olivier Martinez and they are having a BOY! This is the first child for the couple together and the second child for Halle. She has a 5 year old daughter with her ex Gabriel Aubry. Ever since Halle and Gabriel broke up a few years ago things have been very turbulent for the two. Recently Aubry and Marinez even came to blows over things, so hopefully these three work everything out before their little boy arrives and Halle's two children can grow up in happy environment

Another lovely lady who announced she is expecting baby number two is Ivanka Trump. Ivanka and her husband Jared Kurshner already have a 20 month old daughter and are very excited to add another bundle of joy to their family. Baby number two is expected this fall and I am sure Grandpa Donald is thrilled.

Another couple who did something for the second time this weekend was Matt Damon and his wife Luciana who renewed their wedding vows this weekend. These two never had a real "wedding" so it is so sweet that after having three daughters (four total since one is from Luciana's previous relationship) they decided to renew their vows in front of 50 close friends and family, including his BFF Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner. The ceremony took place at sunset on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean . The couple reportedly spent over 1 million dollars on the event. These two have been together for about 10 years and married for 8 so I think it so awesome to see a couple in Hollywood who seem so in love with each other and make their marriage work. Congrats to them and I hope they have many more happy years together.

Kathy Gets Cancelled

Bravo cancels "Kathy"

Earlier this month it was reported that Bravo is canceling Kathy Griffin's late night talk show "Kathy". The show is currently in it's second season and I have found it to be very funny but I can see how they might be having trouble finding viewers. I will admit I have only seen the show a handful of times but when I did I thought it was hilarious. Luckily Kathy is doing a comedy tour right now so if you love her you can go see her live. There are also rumors going around that she shot a test pilot with her good buddy over at CNN Anderson Cooper who has also had his talk show cancelled. If you have seen these two together it is priceless. Seeing Anderson get so uncomfortable with the things that Kathy says (and does) is hilarious. If they did have a show together I would watch for sure. Nothing better than these two together, it is perfect. Let's see if this show ever works out and even if it doesn't I am sure these two will still be around doing something to entertain and in Anderson's case inform us.

See Ya Jay, Hello Jimmy

Next year it's bye Jay Leno, Hello Jimmy Fallon

Last week it was finally announced that next year in the spring Jay Leno will be retiring from doing the legendary "Tonight Show" and Jimmy Fallon will be taking over the spot. This is great news I feel since even though Jay is a late night legend I feel his time has been up for a while now so it will be nice to have some younger blood in the thick of the late night game. Especially since Jimmy Kimmel has moved up his time slot I am sure NBC and CBS were getting crushed with getting younger viewers to tune in. I think Kimmel will have a much harder time when it is a "Jimmy v. Jimmy" match. The sad news is the show is moving from the west coast back to the east and being born and raised in LA I think that stinks but I also don't want to see Jimmy move to LA and have a "Conan" happen to him (which still pisses me off to this day that Jay and NBC did that). All in all I am very excited to see Jimmy take over because I know he is going to continue to do an amazing job as a late night host. The real question we should all have is who is going to take over Jimmy's old time slot. Many names have been brought up and the one I love the most is having Seth Meyers from SNL have his own late night show. Being a huge SNL fan I think he would do great and I would tune in for sure. I guess we will see in 2014 what happens on NBC.

Finding Dory

Soon we will be looking for..... Dory??

Last week Disney announced in 2015 they will be releasing the sequel to "Finding Nemo" titled "Finding Dory". Ellen DeGeneres reported the news on her show stating that the she is returning to the movie and that the new script is fantastic. Being a giant Disney fan (and having young children) I am super excited to see this movie come out. The movie is reportedly going to be set along the California coast and include many of the same lovable and memorable characters from the first film. The story is supposedly going to have Dory reunite with her long lost family which I am sure will make for another amazing Disney movie that warms our hearts and leaves us maybe shedding a tear or two. Mark your calendars the set release date is November 25th 2015! Until then just keep swimming......

New Music From The Jonas Brothers

Jonas Brothers "Pom Poms"

The Jonas Brothers have just released their newest video for their new single "Pom Poms" and it is great. I think the new single shows that they are not just doing the same old pop thing that "boy bands" do but they are thinking a little out of the box with their sound which is great. When I first heard the single I immediately thought of another brother trio, Hanson. They are starting to sound more a like these days which is great I think since Hanson has always been a great band even when they aren't in the spotlight. I am very excited to hear the new Jonas Brothers album and I think if you like music that will make you dance and smile you should check it out as well. Here is the "Pom Poms" music video check it out!

Ups and Downs For The Cast of "Glee"

Big News Coming From The "Glee" Cast

This past week there has been a lot of news coming from the cast of "Glee" some good and some not so good and it all leaves us wondering what is going to happen to the beloved show.

Cory Monteith, who plays Finn, checked into rehab this week for substance addiction. Cory has said in interviews that in the past he has had problems with his addiction to drugs. To me it always seemed like that was apart of his past and not something he is battling now so I was surprised to hear that he was checking himself into rehab. With Cory going into rehab everyone now wants to know what will happen with Finn's character on the show and if he will be well enough in time to return before they finish the season. I think the most important thing to look at here is that it is great he is getting help and getting healthy. We all hope he has a speedy recovery.

In happier news everyone's favorite dumb blond cheerleader (Britney S. Pears) is pregnant! Ok well not Britney but the actress who plays her, Heather Morris, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Taylor Hubbell whom she has been with since she was in high school. Supposedly she is three months along already and is starting to show. I don't know how they are going to use this in the show, though I am sure since they are almost done with season four they wont mention it and just hide the baby bump as best they can. The bigger question is what does season five hold for Britney or for anyone for that matter.

Right now the future of "Glee" seems very unsure and I don't think these two stories help at all. Many FOX shows have already received the green light on coming back in the fall but there is still no word if the kids of McKinley High will come back. There is some talk they will stop focusing on the school in Ohio and just move the location of the show to NYC and focus on the stories of characters like Rachel and Kurt and I am sure bring more characters in like Finn and Blaine and introduce some new characters like they have done every season. Personally I feel like this show has always had such a great script and I would be sad to see it not be on the air anymore so lets hope they figure everything out so come fall we are still getting to sing along with the "Glee" cast.

Newest Celeb Baby Names

They Named Their Baby What??

These days it seems like every celeb in Hollywood is about to pop out a baby and with celebrity babies comes the lovely names they decide on. In March two new bundles of joy came into the world with unique names.

Kristen Bell and her fiance Dax Shepard welcomed their first child on March 28th, a baby girl named Lincoln Bell Shepard. I think this is a very interesting name for a little girl. I think it could possibly work for a little boy, but a girl I don't know. I do think it makes it cuter and more feminine that her middle name is Bell (Of coarse Kristen using her maiden name as the middle name). Lincoln is a hard name to shorten and make a nick name with so I wonder what little Lincolns nick name will be. Maybe they will just call her Bell for short which would be super cute. I am sure she is a little doll and congrats to Kristen and Dax.

Former Playboy playmate Holly Madison welcomed her first child in the world in March as well with her boyfriend Pasquale Rotella. They had a little girl and named her Rainbow Aurora Rotella. I feel like this name isn't to far out there since I am pretty sure their are other people out there named Rainbow but it isn't one you hear every day that is for sure. Holly says she wanted her baby to have a unique name and knew a girl when she was younger who had that name and thought it was so pretty. I feel like Holly is such a girly girl it isn't surprising she named her daughter something like Rainbow Aurora. That little girl is already on her way to be super girly just like her mom. Congrats Holly.

Then we have many couples that will have babies this year and I am sure their will be many more unique names. Kim Kardashian has been talking baby names these days and has mentioned even though she doesn't see this being the name they actually pick she thinks the name Easton would be cute for her baby. This would make the childs name Easton West. I mean really?? That is just asking for people to make fun of the kid I feel like. I am curious to see what they end up naming their child. I am sure we can expect it to be a little crazy and a little out there, especially if they are talking to their friends Beyonce and Jay-Z about names. We could get another name like Blue Ivy from them.

Ryan Gosling Leaves Us

Ryan Gosling Takes a Break From Acting

As many of you may have heard last week, everyone's favorite imaginary boyfriend announced he is taking a break from his acting career. Many were immediately saddened by the news and didn't understand why he would do such a thing. Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper even called the Ryan Gosling help line (The "Gosline")  for those fans who just need to be helped threw the moments of sadness which is so funny. Well no need to worry everyone Ryan has cleared everything up at the premier for his newest movie "The Place Beyond The Pines" which he stars in with his real life girlfriend Eva Mendes. He has said that he is just taking a break from acting to do some film directing instead. So no worries everyone he isn't leaving us for good he is just taking the Ben Affleck route and working on his directing. I am sure we will see plenty of Ryan Gosling in the future. And if you just can't wait here are my top 5 Ryan movies to watch in the mean time. Enjoy.
